Hi, Just joined this website. Has anyone had problems in receiving goods (or even a service to replies) from ERODVD.NL? I ordered 13 dvd's last week (just under 200 Euro) and nothing has been delivered or even a reply to my e-mails. Telephoning them seems to lead to a line which gets cut-off. Has anyone had problems with dealing with them? Im tempted to speak to my bank for a refund of non delivery of goods/services.

Always had good service from them and generally no problems (well I had a couple of DVDs confiscated by UK customs when I was in London).
Otherwise their prices (especially when they have sales but you have to act quick) and free international shipping are great assets. Sometimes they are out of stock on some items and don't let you know straight away. Email communication is good and responsive (sometimes very fast).
Was you credit card debited for the whole amount? Where do you live exactly?

Hi Joey,
I have sent erodvd.nl a series of e-mails concerning my 13 dvd order and none of them has been replied to. They debited the whole amount for the whole order (almost 200 euro) and even though the order was placed over a week ago (and they sent me a mail to say that the order was completed) I still haven't received the goods. Im wondering if they have been sent. No-replies from customer services at erodvd.nl and even trying to phone them is a waste of time - no-one is there to answer the phone! Im now left wondering If indeed I will get the goods........and I live in the UK.
I have bought many dvds from Europe before without any problems from either the retailer concerned or customs but so far my experiences with erodvd.nl has been a bit of a nightmare to be honest.

As i have mentioned on here a few times over the years,i made an order for about 16 titles with Ero and recieved an envelope with just 3 of them in it.
Had the same problem getting a response from them(they said they hadn't recieved my emails)Apart from, strangely, the one in which i threatened to issue a chargeback!
Eventually they refunded me for the missing items, after, many many emails.
I had used them for a few years prior to that, without any problems, and it was a shame as they had previously been o.k(i always used to get really quick email responses unless it was a query about late delivery or an incorrect charge etc)
I never used them gain after that occasion.
Personally,i'd give it another week to allow for postal delays and then email them telling them you'll be issuing a chargeback,i think you might just find you'll recieve a response then!

"Order completed" is their way of telling you it has been sent. One week isn't a long time I would wait another week or two before starting to worry. I live in Germany and it usually takes 1-2 weeks for them to deliver (and the German post is much faster than the British one and weren't they on strike just recently?). Anyway, no need to worry...yet.

I have ordered a couple of DVDs on November 29 and received them today.
Blue briefs told me some days ago by Email that he eventually received his order.
So good news all around!

Not exactly all around. I too ordered some DVDs and it turns out they were bootlegs!
But I wouldn't say it is their fault maybe they just didn't know these weren't originals. Anyway I sent them back and hopefully will receive my money back.

What kind of dvd's were confiscated? Did you buy beastporn or something like that?
Are there some genres you wouldn import because the chances are hight that they will get confiscated?

Any idea why this has been confiscated by customs? Is it illegal to import in your country? Didy ou also get a fine and if no, did the vendor give you (some of )
the money you spend back? Or did they say (before you had hit the buy now button) that if your package would be searched by customs that they would confiscate the dvd's because its illegal to import in your specific country?
Is there a checklist somewhere for stuff that cant be imported in county x, y, or z?

In which country do you live?
I was in the UK at the time of the incident, I don't live there anymore, I'm now living in France which is much more liberal (you can even find scat and zoophilia DVDs legally here although I'm not into that). As for reimbursement I took my chances and told Erodvd I wouldn't ask to be repaid or sent new DVDs. I didn't get any fine , just a warning. That was years ago by the way, 2002 I believe...

Im mostly in Germany now. But even when I was staying in Holland, Belgium or Italy I never had any problems whatsoever with importing porn dvd's. Although I must say, the most "hardcore" stuff I imported were the dvd's from Rocco siffredi's animal trainer series, LOL. I hope Nacho's/vidal's and Rocco's stuff will never get on some kind of no-list otherwise I'm screwed. I would have tried asking my money back.

Can you be a bit more specific?
Some studios do sell unmarked DVD-Rs (SG Video and Hightide come to mind, I got DVD-Rs from them buying DIRECT from them, not through Erodvd) so if it's one of those studios it's not necessarily bootlegs you bought...
Also Erodvd.nl sometimes sell licenced products for instance if you buy Marc Dorcel or Evil Angel it might be a German or Dutch line distibuting Marc Dorcel in their country. Again not bootlegs in that case.

I'm in Germany too. Importing from within the EU is never a problem because packets are never opened/checked. Only if you import stuff from the US or outside of Europe it might be a problem but not because of the content. As long as it's legal here you can buy anything you like problem is though you aren't allowed to order porn via mail in Germany as long as there are no security measures to prevent non-adults from buying it (buying stuff from the states by credit card which you can only get when you are 18 or older in Germany isn't secure enough for them apparently).
They have a couple of Hightide Videos for quite cheap currently and those are definitely bootlegs! Did you order any of them? I ordered 9 because they were so cheap but that was a bad decision. You can immediately tell those are bootlegs just by looking at them. The cover prints are really cheap and although they have the typical Hightide menus and everything I think they somehow even messed with the video, maybe used Divx versions from the web. Whoever did this was a real moron because if the cover prints weren't that bad I would have never found out these were bootlegs. I've already talked to the Hightide guys and they are looking into it and might take legal action.

Actually a creditcard is not proof that you are 18, in many countries you can get one as a minor, as long as your parents sign the application.
Look at the first FAQ , you can get one from age 11!

Yes, but in Germany you have to be at least 18 and have a job etc. Trust me it's practically impossible for minors to get one here, hell I wasn't even able to get one as an adult for a long time. LOL

OK it's clearer to me now, and no I didn't buy any of those but noticed the very low pricing.
Let us know what happens.

Hmmm, I once got a semi-questionable dvd from them, ordered Marc Dorcel's Lesbian Prison and while the dvd cover said PAL, the dvd was actually NTSC. Not sure what was up with that. Still one of the best quality encodes I've seen, the picture was immaculate, except for just one scene which was faulty - though at least that was the least interesting scene of them all
Finally got my first backorder from them, for one of the new Daring! titles, two weeks since the order and it's still "processing". If I had realized Daring! was now selling directly through their own web shop, and at nearly the same prices, would have gone with them instead (I always prefer to have as much $$ going to the actual producers instead of split up amongst several middle men). Have an email in to cancel the order with erodvd, will see how they handle it.
Otherwise, their prices can't be beat. I don't know, for what few orders I have bought through them, I've already saved something like $100 compared to ordering from the next cheapest place.

Hello well living about as far away from anywhere that actually produces Porn (New Zealand)
The free postage and specials they offer make a big difference
No company is 10 percent and I have had a couple of issues(Had one title seized by customs here that was not Ero.dvd fault, they did send Fist Fest instead of Fist Feast(than I waited for the correct disc which I had to email and ask about, eventually ended up picking a different title(which am still waiting to receive will let you know how
As to email well (Aline) dunno sounds like a womans nme but who knows in Europeit may be a variant of Allan replied promptly to my emails and they appeared to try hard to keep me a happy and satisfied customer
So that is my experience with them ,Mostly satisfactory and as I say THe Prices and FREE SHIPPING
are very good

As far as I'm concerned I'm still a very satisfied customer, as a matter of fact I just ordered 6 DVDs from them, there are some good sales at the moment and you get 10% off (even on already discounted items) by entering the code Happy2010.
Of course I'll let you know how it goes...

I have bought 2 dvds at erodvd.nl for a total price of 40 euros in april 2015.
I never received them and I have contacted the shop by mail 3 times.
They never answered my mails, and they never made a refund of the money.
They still have my 40 euros and I haven't received anything.
When I call their phone number +31546769001, it's busy or not working.
This company is clearly a fraud.
I wouldn't recommand you to buy there.
I lost 40 euros for nothing.

Hello dear all,
Avoid this company! I've been ordering with them for a few years now and I live in a neighbouring country to Holland (their official home address). Sometimes it went all well and they even sent DVD's in backorder; but sometimes for totally unknown reasons they just take your money and you never see the DVD. When you complain by email, you get some rather stupid answers such as 'look online at the order status'. I also noticed that some of the DVD's they sent are of vary bad quality: after a while they get "rotten" (don't start even up again) so I suppose in some cases it are illegal copies....? So, conclusion: avoid erodvd.nl. I personally will never ever order again with them!
Enjoy your movies and cheerz.
