Has anyone heard of this? [link inactive:404 - Page not found]"Conservative Review TV?"
OK, now...shit, let me stop laughing....*gasp* -- "in the woods?": seriously?
In theory, a $99 a year sub sounds totally reasonable, but didn't both and Glenn Beck try this already, (And when I say "much " I mean, "any")
There is no doubt, Conservative Media has done a great job with visibility, marketing and messaging. No doubt. But so much of it -- Fox, Rush, Coulter, all the books, the blogs, the podcasts, the magazines, conservative Twitter -- comes ad-supported or just on a pro bono basis, (missionary work?) that getting people to actually pay for it directly seems like a lost cause.
Like I've said in the past, I don't think paid conservative media can succeed for the same reason that Men will never be able to turn being a male (straight) prostitute into a viable profession: You're competing with too many guys who are giving it away for free.

^ Eh, I understand his point, but we're not advocating gun control because our feeling are hurt, or our pride offended. Granted, the federal government needs a check on its power, but is giving crazy people the means to commit mass murder really the best solution we can think of?

Hollywood has violated that edict since forever, Mr. Griffin. Where's your outrage over that?

But I think the main focus is the hypocrisy as Tomi Lahren is a Fox News "analyst" and rabid right winger.

I don't think conservatives do either.

I also don't think they burn the flag if it touches the ground, or whatever.

It doesn't appear that the Maine constitution gives him the authority to say no. Now, influencing implementation is another matter.

Every time I see somebody invoking Nature to dictate or suppress a particular type of human behavior I roll my eyes. The central fact about Nature is that it doesn't give a damn.
Here's an interesting tidbit from Wikipedia's article on homosexual behavior in animals:
An estimated one-quarter of all black swans pairings are of homosexual males. They steal nests, or form temporary threesomes with females to obtain eggs, driving away the female after she lays the eggs. More of their cygnets survive to adulthood than those of different-sex pairs, possibly due to their superior ability to defend large portions of land. The same reasoning has been applied to male flamingo pairs raising chicks.

More likely, they see no reason to back out. Don't cite Alabama to me, Moore was his own worst enemy. The fact is that Republicans are still getting dividends from Trump's election, and they're still confident that they can throw him under the bus when and if he loses his base of support, surviving with the help of their real masters whom they have richly rewarded.

Or they're fleeing/retiring. They remember what happened in 2006 and how Bush's coattails became an anchor.
But overall, you are correct; they've realized they have at least 60 million people who are entrenched. Forget shooting someone, Trump could eat a live baby on national TV and not lose that core.

The ones who are retiring held certain Republican ideals and principles as sacred, ideals and principles which Trump has trampled on. Those who remain are just rank opportunists.

Is it even necessary to add the words "a call girl" after "Brie Taylor"?
You can see in one of the texts that he knew to use the term "donation." Probably not a first-timer. Is $250 for an hour including anal a pretty good rate? Talk to me, hobbyists.

You're right, that is a good rate. I haven't been with her, but from what I have seen in reviews and some adds, yes, it is included. So at least the guy knows how to spend a buck.

This is a trend after a mass shooting, hold a raffle for the exact same item used in the shooting; and
And I know these were probably already scheduled, but you'd think common decency would say,

Kansas didn't fail, but yes, Brownback is an idiot. It isn't like we don't have good universities with faculty that could have explained economic reality to our governor, so he really has no excuse.

Yup, teachers are preparing to walkout. No pay raises in seven years. Oklahoma is last in teacher pay. I know many that live in state and work in Texas. The State gave oil and gas companies a huge tax break right before oil fell in price. But do not have the stomach or votes to reverse any of those even though the situation has changed. And now the dickheads running for Fallin's office, are no tax increase in taxes. The government spends too much and waste is the problem. All fucking morons.
All of them fucking morons.

BTW, let it be noted that one of the stated goals of tax cuts is to "attact businesses" and, ergo, more people, more middle and upper-class people will move to the state, embiggening the tax base.
This is, essentially, the idea that sports teams have when it comes to the idea of "rebuilding". We may lose for a while, but we'll build up through the draft and free agency.
But states are not sports teams, and the problems with this concept are multiple. It takes YEARS and DECADES for a state to get a reputation as a place that will attract entrepreneurs. How many people from New York or California, say, "Hey, taxes are super cheap in Oklahoma! I'm going to move there!" Basically, conservatives seem to feel that that average Americans spend every waking hour obsessing over their taxes. If that were the case, states with the highest tax rates (income, sales, property), like California, Oregon, Minnesota and New York would be empty and states like Wyoming, Nebraska, the Dakotas, etc. would be modern day metropolises. Yes, Florida and Texas have no state income tax and are two of the most populated states. But they have various elements and industries that complement the lack of income tax. (for one thing: Coastline. Evidence tells us that a vast number of people want to live around large bodies of water. Hence the magnitude of metropolitan areas on the Coasts and around the Great Lakes) Jerry Brown raised taxes on the rich in California. If residents wanted to move, they were free to do so; however there has been no such mass exodus. Why? Because it's California.
The biggest economic reasoning for moving from one state to another is a new job. That's the focus for the vast majority of Americans. hundreds of thousands of people DID leave Detroit for that reason. They moved to nearby states and to the outer suburbs, sure, but that's an extreme case where you had a single-industry and when it collapsed, there was a Domino Effect. The other reasoning is retirement. California is certainly one of the worst states to live if you don't have a job which is why many move to Arizona and why many New Yorkers move to Florida.
Simply put, Conservatives need to stop living in a bubble and end this obsession over taxes. This fantasy that millions are going to leave the West Coast and the Northeast, which have built up their reps as business hubs, again, over decades.

Embiggening? Is that a Trumpism?
At any rate, the idea that tax cuts will attract businesses sounds nice, but businesses need a lot more than just low taxes in order to succeed.

Yes, for a business to succeed, you need a large enough customer base. Where are the biggest customer bases? Metropolitan areas.
Let's say I'm from San Francisco and I've just started an HVAC company. It's overpriced and the taxes are insane. But hey look, Wyoming is really business friendly! And the cost of living is really low! I could move there and pay little taxes!
But....the flip side.
There are less than 600,000 people in Wyoming, and only a 10th of that live in Cheyenne, the biggest city. If I move there, how much of a customer base do I have? And surely there are already more well-established HVAC companies there already, right? They probably have a wealth of service contracts all sewed up already so I'd be looking for crumbs.
On the other hand, there are 8 million people in the Bay Area metro. Anywhere there's construction you need HVAC.
Bottom line: Low taxes cannot be the sole factor in where you live or where you start your business.

All we need is for President Pelosi to bail out the cities/states' pensions funds, like they did with the banks. Simple!
