^ So, FM45 fabricated a crisis while ignoring a real one? Par for the course, which isn't saying much because as we all know, he cheats at golf as well.

It's normal if you let it be "normal". Folks, this is not "normal"!

In 2020, please do the World a huge favour and vote FM45 out!

The World thanks you in advance!

Excerpts from the article:

Border officials are aiming to more than quadruple the number of asylum seekers sent back over the southern border each day, a major expansion of a top government effort to address the swelling number of Central Americans arriving in the country, a FM45 administration official said Saturday.

It was the latest attempt to ease a straining immigration system that officials say is at the breaking point. Hundreds of officers who usually screen cargo and vehicles at ports of entry were reassigned to help manage migrants. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen asked for volunteers from non-immigration agencies within her department, sent a letter to Congress late this past week requesting resources and broader authority to deport families faster, and she met with Central American and Mexican officials.

The efforts are being made while FM45 is doubling down on threats to shutter the U.S.-Mexico border entirely, a move that would have serious economic repercussions for both the U.S. and Mexico but wouldn't stop migrants from crossing between ports. His administration also announced it was cutting aid to the Central American countries home to most of the migrants.

So, tell me, "grate" orange one, how is a wall gonna help? It won't!

Take the money that's already there and help your border patrol agents process these asylum seekers. Hire more agents, implement better screening technology and databases, proper accommodations to house these asylum seekers while their claim is being processed (not fucking cages!), etc.

Shutting down the border won't help as well.

Oh, well if Cher is having second thoughts, by all means, let's... what, exactly?

I, for one, have formed zero of my personal opinions based on what Cher thinks.

I understand tGrump has had second thoughts about a few things.

Like about probably 50 people he's appointed, making Mexico pay for the wall -- and most recently, his professed love of wikileaks, his plan to close the border, de-funding the Special Olympics, and his plan to produce a Republican health plan.

^ It's more like his "real" counsel, Faux News, having second thoughts. FM45's never formed one viable thought in his life! Nonetheless, agreed!

Back on the immigration topic, how about saying it was Obama that separated families and put children in cages? smh.

That was an original part of his platform. You probably didn't hear about it because the MSM didn't tell you about it. But sump pump John McCain was there to vote YES on the sinking ship we know as Obamacare.

Yes we all owe him one. Much gratitude to John McCain for one of his greater moments.

As for tGrump, he and the pugs have never produced the magical health plan. They've had seven or eight years and so far -- bupkis.

Excerpts from the article:

The husband of US Army soldier killed in combat was detained and deported to Mexico last week by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement even though he had been granted permission to stay in the US, according to his attorney.

The man, who is now back in Phoenix, where he lives, had been granted "parole in place," clearing him to remain in the US after his wife was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan, the attorney says.

Jose Gonzalez Carranza was arrested by ICE agents at his home in Phoenix on April 8 and was taken to Nogales, Mexico, on the border two days later, his lawyer, Ezequiel Hernandez, told CNN on Monday. Carranza was brought back to Phoenix and released Monday, hours after his deportation was first reported by The Arizona Republic.

Hernandez said that his law firm tried to contact ICE for details related to why Gonzalez was taken back to Mexico but did not receive a response until after his office notified the press.

For the life of me, I can't understand why Trump voters still push this fantasy bullshit of "the MSM ignored him"

Excerpts from the article:

A militia group near the US-Mexico border has started detaining migrants and handing them over to the US Border Patrol, the New York Times reported, citing social media posts and a spokesman for the group.

The Times reported that a spokesman for the United Constitutional Patriots militia group said their actions were legal, "comparing the detention of the migrants to 'a verbal citizen's arrest.'"

But videos showing migrants held by the group drew swift condemnation from the American Civil Liberties Union of New Mexico, which sent a letter to state authorities denouncing the actions and asking the government to step in.

"We cannot allow racist and armed vigilantes to kidnap and detain people seeking asylum," the ACLU's letter said. "We urge you to immediately investigate this atrocious and unlawful conduct."

WTF! smh.

Excerpts from the article:

When she arrived in the US, the West African girl was just five years old, but she soon was responsible for caring for a Texas couple's children, cooking, cleaning and mowing the lawn. She was abused and neglected for 16 years -- until she escaped, according to a criminal complaint against the couple.

The pair has now been sentenced to seven years each in prison and nearly $300,000 in restitution, according to a Monday news release from the Justice Department.

Mohamed Toure, 58, and Denise Cros-Toure, 58, were convicted in January of forced labor, conspiracy to harbor an alien and alien harboring.

They both are citizens of Guinea -- where the young girl was taken from -- and lawful permanent residents of the US, but may lose their US immigration status and be deported to Guinea, the Justice Department said.

smh.

Excerpts from the article:

President Donald Trump on Monday evening proposed sweeping changes to how the US treats asylum-seekers, including charging fees to file asylum applications and limiting access to work permits.

Trump has repeatedly railed against the rising number of asylum-seekers, suggesting many have been coached in order to win their claims, and this is the latest move from the administration to attempt to curtail migrants from claiming asylum.

In a memo for the attorney general and homeland security secretary, Trump orders them to develop policies to settle asylum applications within 180 days of filing; require a fee for asylum applications and work permit applications; and bar migrants who have entered or attempted to enter the US illegally from receiving work authorization before any relief or protection is granted.

The entire article:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say officers arrested three Mexican men as they crossed into the U.S. from Canada on a freight train carrying grain.

Agency spokesperson Renne Archer says the men ranging in age from 25 to 33 were arrested Sunday.

She says they were hiding in a rail car under garbage bags.

Archer says the men were processed for removal from the United States and then taken to the federal government's privately-run Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma.

Excerpts from the article:

FM45 is threatening to remove millions of people living in the country illegally on the eve of formally announcing his re-election bid.

In a pair of tweets Monday night, FM45 said that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement would next week "begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States."

"They will be removed as fast as they come in," he wrote.

^ Where does he expect to remove them to? I doubt either Canada or Mexico is going to accept them. Much as our Blusterer in Chief might fantasize about it, there aren't enough ships in the US Navy to just put them all out to sea.

Furthermore, I suspect that a lot of these illegal aliens are employed by Republicans. The Donald could end up shooting himself in the foot with this one.

But currently, we take their children away to be mistreated, and never give them back. So they probably don't give a shit about their missing wallets and rosaries and phones.

Excerpts from the article:

The head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement said efforts to deport families with orders to leave the country will continue after an upcoming national sweep that President Donald Trump said would start Sunday.

Matthew Albence, the agency's acting director, said targets were on an "accelerated docket" of immigration court cases for predominantly Central Americans who recently arrived at the U.S. border in unprecedented numbers. Similar operations occurred in 2016 under President Barack Obama and in 2017 under Trump.

"This family operation is nothing new," Albence told The Associated Press. "It's part of our day-to-day operations. We're trying to surge some additional resources to deal with this glut of cases that came out of the accelerated docket, but after this operation is over, these cases are still going to be viable cases that we'll be out there investigating and pursuing."

Excerpts from the article:

With most migrants who have passed through Mexico now barred from seeking asylum in the United States, refugee advocates are asking Canada to do more to help.

The U.S. has been overwhelmed with more than 100,000 migrants a month flooding across its southern border with Mexico. Most of them are fleeing Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

Earlier this month, the FM45 administration declared Mexico a “safe” country for migrants, which means those who have passed through Mexico won’t get hearings in the U.S. to determine whether they are refugees in need of protection. That means far more are likely to seek asylum in Mexico.

C'mon JT! Let's do it!

In the spots left vacant by the removal of Confederate monuments, we could put up ones honoring the mentally ill who choose suicide by police officers. This dude could be the 1st.
