^ I'm gonna say that it'll be after Lauren Cohan leaves and from what I've read, she'll be leaving after episode 5. I'll say mid-season finale for Andrew Lincoln.
As least the spineless coward that he is, Gregory got what was coming to him!
The bloody helicopter is now in the introduction!
Any bets on what the helicopter represents?

^ I agree with you about the helicopter, being that the Government is involved, and that Jadis is the Government operative.

According to my sister, Andrew Lincoln's last episode will be the season's finale.

^ No but she did read about it somewhere.
Anywho, who do you think took out Justin?
I think it's the "lost" Saviors.

I think it might be that curly haired guy that seems sweet on Maggie.

Well, I stand corrected. Episode 5 will be Lincoln's last episode.
What was surprising was that Oceanside was killing off the Saviors. Didn't see that coming! But it does make sense!
Jadis is trading people? What?

Pretty good episode tonight, my favorite so far in this new season.
I'm thinking Darryl and Maggie will set in motion something that will have Negan killing Rick so they can kill Negan.

^ imho, Jadis is going to get Rick (i.e. Rick is trade bait). Negan will kill Maggie and in turn, Daryl will kill Negan.

^Maggie is most likely the trade bait (I assume Jadis' walkie-talkie peeps are kidnappers of some sort) because the show runners have announced that Maggie's character is not getting killed off. The are writing it to leave the door open for her return.
I think we're forgetting an important piece of the puzzle: Michonne.
If someone kills Rick, she will definitely seek out vengeance and hunt, kill that person.

Well, I finally had a chance to watch last Sunday's episode.
It seems a sacrifice is coming Rick's way. The greater good, I suppose.

Omigod.
Time jump.
And the stuff on the first five minutes of Talking Dead.
Don't read any more on this page until you see this week's, for fear of spoilers.

Good news! Andrew Lincoln will be reprising his role as Rick Grimes in an AMC sponsored trilogy of movies.

The time jump is cool as it introduces Judith and she basically takes over Carl's role.
I'm not really enthusiastic about the Rick movies though. Too much Walking Dead, they are miking it to death.

I'm okay with too much Walking Dead. : )
I got an email from a friend today:
I was talking to him last night, and we were saying that in a six year time jump, anyone could be gone, and any sort of new people arrived. You don't even have to explain it much either. Someone might just mention that they miss so-and-so since they left to join Georgie three years ago, or whatever. I don't know his source, though for the stuff about Maggie and little Herschel and all that, so it could be rumor.

Andrew Lincoln said farewell to The Walking Dead...in Sunday's episode, and he wasn't the only one: "What Comes After" also marked the final appearance of Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee, if only for now.
"That's the last of her for this season," showrunner Angela Kang confirms, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about Cohan's work in season nine. AMC programming president David Madden verifies the news, adding: "I would hope it's not the last you'll see of her for the show, but she is not in any immediately forthcoming episodes."

Carol did the right thing (more or less), but I think they weren't quite correct on Talking Dead to characterize it as revenge. She was neutralizing a threat.
Those guys were still in the area after (six?) years. The one guy told Carol he would let her live because she let him live in a previous encounter, and that now they were even. Carol can't leave those guys in the area to menace Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom.
The one part that was revenge was her speaking to the guy before she lit them up. But she kept it brief and tidy.

The Whisperers reveal was very nicely executed but....
I hated that they killed off Jesus just when he was starting to get more interesting.
I hate that producers routinely give characters more to do just to kill them off suddenly.

^ if you listen to Tom Payne's interview recently he makes it implied Scott Gimple's the reason Jesus had no development. I kind of believe him. Gimple seasons were the weakest

^I tend to believe that Gimple was responsible as it seems he tried to ruin every aspect of this once wonderful show.
I still don't get why they had to kill Jesus (I know it happens in the comics but still). Tara (what does she do again...) would have been a good victim and it would have carried emotional weight too.

Nice move, Daryl! Good way to distinguish the "living kind or the original recipe". (Thanks Eugene!)

^I agree, the first episode of the restart was very entertaining and emotional.

Hopefully the show doesn't get to kid-centric with Judith and those two in jail.

Not a bad episode but I'm dumb founded as to why Alpha gets a backstory after appearing in one measly episode and Negan has yet to have his own. I don't get the show runners sometimes.

With one episode left, all in all this has been an awful season.

Aimless and without focus it tried to get us to care about annoying characters (Henri) while killing off interesting characters (Jesus). Adding to the aimlessness is this ridiculous plot line of having a fair to bring communities together....thin plot line if I ever saw one.

I've found myself hate-watching most episodes this year and that makes me sad because I loved this show

After a while, every show of any stripe becomes old-hat and wears thin.

The trick is to leave 'em wanting more.

All the same, I liked one of the episodes (#13) a lot.

Looking for a projector light bulb was maybe the dumbest time waster this season.

I'm still watching. I like Fear the Walking Dead too, off and on. I'd be happy to check out other spin-offs if they do them.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to Killing Eve returning April 7th. They are going to do a marathon of season 1 before they start season 2. So, anybody who hasn't seen it, it's on BBC America and this year on AMC as well.

According to Scott Mmmmm Gimple, the first few episodes of this season's FTWD is expanded to explain "stuff" that happened on TWD that we didn't get to see on TWD.

I'm guessing it'll be the "stuff" that happened during the 6 year time jump like the disappearance of Maggie where she goes off to join another group.

Any guess?

Pretty awful finale.

Poorly written, poorly directed and poorly edited.

For me easily the weakest finale in the series' history.

I think it was Maggie or Jadis on the radio but at this point I don't care.

FTWD has had some lame stuff this season -- the bit with Daniel deciding that he has to lead a big group of walkers somewhere, someone using an airplane propeller to kill walkers instead of just leading them back beyond the plane and then leaving, and amateurs trying to repair a plane with a 'new' propeller. I wouldn't want to fly in that plane.

And the Peter Pan group.

But there's been some good stuff -- Al's walkabout, some of the stuff with John. It's still entertaining, but it's lost some of its edge, and most of the characters are not as engaging as I'd like. There's too many characters that I don't care much about.
