"Montezuma" a Vivaldi opera, with "Il Complesso Barocco" directed by Alan Curtis, that was on Wednesday evening (concert version). A fantastic performance!
Might go to the Palace of Versailles for another classical concert tomorrow but I haven't got tickets yet, could be sold out already...

second time i've seen him. better than last time, vocalwise. his live show wasn't as theatrical, and the latest band are boring. they used to have personality. mm was in fine form though. the crowd really loved it. i loved it.

The most recent concert I saw was this year's Ozzfest. I have no plans to see any concerts in the near future, though.

I just saw Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath with Ronnie Jame Dio) a few weeks ago in Tucson and it was amazing. I had seen them before back in April in Phoenix when they started the tour and just couldn't pass seeing my idols on stage again. I'm next planning on checking out Static X and Shadows Fall on Oct. 26 in Albuquerque and Van Halen with David Lee Roth in Phoenix on Nov. 23 if all goes well.

Just back from Miller (it's 3a.m.), that was one of the best fucking concerts I've ever been to! It was so blindingly good, I forgot to get drunk. A small joint, only 300 in the audience, but the mood was electric and the sound was terrific. And what a band!

They're a great live band. I saw them at a 3 day festival (Roskilde) and even though they weren't/aren't one of my favourite bands, they were one of the highlights.

Most recent; a local metal-band a couple of weeks ago. It was cool, lots of metalheads and excessive drinking.
Next: I'm not sure if it'll be the next, actually I'm pretty sure it won't be, but I just learned Mike Stern plays in my town in May and brings along Dave Weckl (a.k.a. God) on drums.

Most recent was probably The Donnas, who I'm seeing again in a coupe weeks. I really wish the entire Crue would get together again for another tour. I'm still waiting on that new album...

I haven't been to any shows for awhile. I saw Neil Young a few times, back in early December, and that kind of set me back a bit financially. The next show I head to will likely be either Darkbuster or Daniel Jonston.

I took my daughter, little sister and one of their friends to see Avenged Sevenfold at the Roxy in Atlanta. A7X kicked serious ass in a small venue like that; I actually almost enjoyed it.

There was a local band there that I can't remember the name of that kicked more ass than the headliner, though. Fuck if I can remember..God, they made me feel old - they were all like 18-19 and they were doing Metallica and Testament and Sepultura covers. The little bastards. Their original stuff was good, too. Too bad I was chatting up the (my age and cute) bartender. Not that I would ever cheat on my wife, but kicking the tires sure can be fun sometimes.
What was the question again?

I don't see much live music, none at all in the last few months.
I'm planning on seeing at some point this year. Milton puts on a great live show and I've been listening to his music a lot recently.

The Decemberists and Nada Surf were both in town this week on the same night. Chose The Decemberists and was heavily rewarded for my choice. See 'em soon, before they get too big.

The last concert I went to see was Lupe Fiasco a couple of weeks ago.
Jill Scott is coming to town soon, and I wouldn't mind seeing her perform. So that might be the next concert I see.

I'm not sure if they got to it before a hooligan poured beer into the mixing board ending the show prematurely. This was after the police came in and apprehended the other main hooligans. It was a bit crazy, but great fun.

Upcoming in April:
Megadeth, In Flames, Job for a Cowboy, High on Fire, and Children of Bodom
I really only wanna see Children of Bodom. I haven't been into Megadeth since I was a teenager. People have told me since I'm so into COB that I should pick up some In Flames discs, but I just haven't.

I'll be checking out on March 2 in Tucson. I've seen them many times already and they always put on an excellent show of grindcore. RIP Jesse Pintado! I'll also be seeing in Albuquerque on April 13 and if all goes well, I'll be banging my head to the mighty Iron Maiden on May 26 in Phoenix. Lucky. I'd love to see all four of them. I was supposed to see Duran Duran back in November, but the writer's strike fucked that up.
