When my financial situation allows, I join one of the premium online paysites. Last night I joined Lubed.com. Started downloading without a problem. I was presented an offer to unlock several of their other sites (8 or 10 total) for an additional $ 69.95. It seemed like a great offer, but it just wasn't in the cards financially for me right now.
A few hours later I check my email. There were two emails from SegPay Customer Service, with transaction ID numbers as the subject line. They charged my credit card the additional $ 69.95, even though I never clicked and accepted their offer. It seems a little shady to me. I suspect they attempted to hide their deceptive practice by sending emails using the transaction ID numbers as the subject line, rather than something like "Lubed.com membership" for one subject line, and something like "Bonus site membership" for the other subject line - something that would have been much clearer.
After an extended session with SegPay customer support, they reluctantly agreed to refund the bogus $69.95 charge.
Today I try to access the Lubed account that I did sign up and pay for, only to received a notice that my membership has ended. Per SegPay customer support, it will be 1-2 days before the Lubed webmaster can resolve the issue.
Other paysites I have joined over the years never did something like this. Just want other to be aware of this practice.

I've not encountered this type of strong arm practice, this seems insane or illegal. Did the terms of service denote that? Man, that has to be difficult. That's why I stick to still buying dvd, renting, and streaming. I haven't joined a pay site in a long time, at least not like that. Can you get a refund? I don't know if I would trust them after all of this.

Do a chargeback and next time read the join page fully. Some sites have it prechecked but other sites keep it unchecked.

I get the feeling that after purchasing your membership, when you accessed the site for the first time you clicked on the big button (for the all-in-one $69.95 membership upgrade) that appears after you sign in instead of the link beneath it; I think that link reads something like "No thanks, just let me in". I've previously had memberships to Lubed and some of its sister sites (Tiny4K, POVD, Exotic4K) and I remember that every freakin' time I signed in, I had to bypass the same page by clicking on that not-so-easy-to-find "No thanks" link underneath the huge upgrade button. Whatever the case may be, it's good to hear you're being refunded the $69.95. If you don't mind me asking, what was the membership price you actually signed up for?

I had a membership to Blacked at the time, and took an offer from their site to join Lubed.com for $17.95.
I believe you are correct about what happened. I am aware of that practice from other sites (I have belonged to 30+ over the years) and am usually adept at avoiding the trap. It sucks that we are trying to support their site (rather than using other methods to obtain the content) and they feel the need to abuse the customers that support them.
Also noticed that the promised 2-3 updates per week is actually more like once per week.

I thankfully never get roped in by one of these, but about a year ago, I cancelled my Team Skeet account because of this sort of crap popping up all the time. They started creating new subsites that had seperate subscription fees and listing them mixed in with the regular updates. You reach a point where it feels like you are navigating a minefield rather than comfortably enjoying the content you paid for. I don't think anything should be charged to your card without first bringing up a CC form that makes it obvious that you are authorizing a charge. Instead they litter their sites with deceptive tactics to try and get you to accidentally click the wrong button. I have never even thought of subbing to Bang Bros after reading countless complaints about how they do this shit. All it takes is one day where you are half awake or try to click off a pop-up too fast out of frustration and you are screwed.

I'm not sure if you'd be interested in joining Lubed or any of its sister sites again, but I figured I'd let you know that you can find better discount offers for those sites on this porn discount site:
That's where I always go to get a discount deal for one of those 4K sites.
As for the update rate on Lubed, that site gives you a new scene once every 10 days. Passion-HD appears to be the one and only site in that network of sites that doesn't make you wait 7+ days for a new scene.
