Whether in theaters, on DVD, on television or whatever.

Me, I got Bullet (1996) on as I'm typing this.

It's pretty good. Mickey Rourke is tough.

There are no movies that are not porn. All else is illusion that we must strive to free ourselves from.

This is an awesome movie. I never thought a bunch of Nazis talking around a table could be so interesting. Kenneth Branagh is the picture of Aryan evil.

I almost never watch mainstream movies on TV and rarely on DVD, the last movie I saw in the theater was "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit".

Hitch : rental
It was okay...nothing too impressive about it other than the very Gina Gershon-ish looking .

...and Kevin James stole the show, comedy-wise.

In the theatre, A History of Violence (weak), on DVD, Sunrise (but I'm currently doing the eastern european film stuff/bit, although it's a very Hollywood film, not the silent flick mind you, the Szabo film). VHS Godard's Two or Three Thing I Know About her...repeat post by me, but awesome stuff...

Door in the Floor - great movie from a great book (widow for one year)

Tried to watch Love Liza (or something like that) on IFC, but constant gas sniffing does not make for entertainment when you're only watching the sniffing.

Wolf Creek only the other day. A frightening and graphic but highly enjoyable Aussie horror/crime thriller. It certainly does for tourism in the Australian outback what Jaws did for the beach.

Same for me.

The last movie I saw in the theater was this summer--The Island. It wasn't very good, but it had Ewan McGregor, Sean Bean, Djimon Hounsou and Scarett Johansen in it. That's a ridiculously sexy cast. I'd like to curl up in the center of them all, like a warm pile of sleepy puppies.

Oh--I'm sorry. I drifted off for a second. So, um yes, the last movie I watched was Revenge of the Sith, which also features Ewan McGregor. Mmmmm. Ewan.

dogville. it took me 3 sittings but damnit it i made it all the way through. definitely a bit long in the tooth but seeing nicole kidman shackled with the rusty bell-tyre iron was great. and a very uplifting and life affirming end in my opinion; cause the dog survives.

I've seen it five times. Three times on DVD, twice theatrically. Yes, it is long and punishing, but it's also just about perfect.

F. Murray Abraham's single brilliant performance.
His career was non-stop suck after this one role!

Kung-Fu Hustle , on DVD at my neighbour's. It is... special. Either love it or hate it. I'm undecided yet.
I second that. Though the title sounds a bit like what most people avoid in porn (Wallice and Vomit) it is a fun movie. My neighbour and I were the only ones who got the booby jokes, or the only ones who found them funny, or the only ones who expressed that feeling by laughing. Or maybe we just laughed so loudly that we didn't hear the others laughing anymore.
This movie is on my wish list already but now I think I should get it quite soon...
... and put a second exemplar on my wish list.

I am hard to please. Why else should I be hard?

I'm currently watching "Braveheart" and I know this is not supposed to be a sexual thread and lord knows it's not a sexual movie, but I am absolutely smitten with the woman who set the whole revolution in motion. There were no credits at the beginning of the film and I haven't peaked yet to see who she is, but she reminds me a hell of a lot of a young Theresa Russell.

Catherine McCormack, if you are talking about Mel's wife and not English princess and alleged mistress Sophie Marceau. If you like Catherine, go get Dangerous Beauty.

"Breakdown"

More holes in the plot than you could drive J.T. Walsh's 18-wheeler through, but still a lot was done with a little.
